Chapter 1

The Jelly Town was calm as always. All residents were getting ready for work. The town was on the border between Sugar Mountain and Sweet River. It was located exactly at the intersection of the sun's rays and colorful rainbow. Because of all these factors, inhabitants of various shapes and colors lived in this town.

As always, and this morning the sun was shining. This helped the sugar melt and descended from the mountain into a city factory called “Minicrush”. This factory was the main source of life for the inhabitants because all the jelly that factory produced served as food.

Elephants worked in the factory as they were the strongest. All the elephants had uniforms and with their trunks, they carried fluid from one machine to another. In order to reach the factory, workers had to go through a large yard full of different fruits. Apples, peaches, and mangoes grew on trees. Great plantations of pineapple spread throughout the garden. In the bushes the strawberries were red, and the grapes hung from all sides. All this fruit was needed for the production of various jelly candies.

The colleagues greeted at the ramp.

"Good morning," An elephant said.

“Good morning,” said the other, lifting the hat from his head with his trunk.

When all the workers took their positions, production began. The elephants worked with the song and it wasn’t difficult for them to produce food for the whole town with the color of the factory. One day an elephant started singing a song and after that, that song became a huge hit:

I will fill my belly

with this tasty jelly.

I like to eat it all:

pink, purple, and yellow.

I like to eat it in my bed:

green, orange, and red.

So I will do it with blush

because I love Minicrush.

The last machine was throwing ready-made jelly candies and the elephant caught them with his trunk. He packed them in large yellow boxes and put them in a truck. Jelly candies were ready for transport to shops.

The snails performed transport operations. What an irony. But just because they were slow, they did their job very responsibly.

And this time, one snail entered the factory gate. It took him about three hours to cross the yard and to reach the warehouse. During this time, the elephant rested, ate, read the book, slept, ate again, swam and walked. When the snail finally arrived, the elephant put the boxes in the truck. Twice he hit the trunk, giving the driver a sign to go. The snail waved and headed for a big supermarket. When he arrived at the store at the back door, two lions were waiting for him. They took one box at a time and put them in the store. The crab was waiting at the counter and shouted:

"Hurry, people are waiting."

In front of the store, a large line of animals was waiting to buy jelly candies. Some were very impatient and all the time they grumbled. The young ones stood quietly listening to the music on the headphones. They shook their eyes without realizing why everyone around them was nervous. But when the crab opened the door of the store, all the animals rushed to enter.

"I need one apple candy and three of the strawberries," one lady said.

"You will give me two sweet-flavored mangoes and four with pineapple," one lion said.

"I will take a peach and twelve candies of grapes," the big elephant lady said.

Everyone looked at her.

"What? I have six children," she said proudly.

Jelly candies were sold themselves. Every animal had its favorite taste, and because of that, there were different types of candy on the shelves. The big lady elephant picked up her twelve grapes and one of the peaches candies. When she arrived home, six little elephants waited for their breakfast.

"Hurry, Mom, I'm hungry," said little Steve.

Mrs. Elephant smiled gently and anointed her son with her trunk.

"Slowly, children. I have candies for everyone," she said and began to share two candies for each child.

They all sat down at the long table and rushed to their sweets. Mother elephant put one peach jelly in her plate and ate with delight. For this family, the day passed peacefully as always. The children were in a kindergarten while their mother was at work for that time. She was a teacher at school, so every day, when the classes were over; she went to her little children and took them home. On their way home, they stopped at a restaurant for lunch. The waiter approached the table and waited for the order of six little elephants. Each of them ordered two different jelly candies. Ms. Elephant said:

“For me, as always.”

After lunch, the family came home. The house where the elephant lived with her children was in the shape of an egg on three floors. Such a form had all the houses in the neighborhood. Each floor has two children slept. It was easiest for a mother elephant to establish an order among children. When the children finished their homework, their mother told them to wash their teeth and lay in bed.

"But I'm not tired," little Emma complained.

"I want to play more," little Steve complained.

"Can I watch the TV?" little Jack asked.

However, Mrs. Elephant was persistent in her intention. Children needed a dream and she didn’t approve further discussion. When all the kids lay in bed, the mother came to each of them and kissed them for a good night. She was tired and she barely got to her bed. She lied and fell asleep immediately.

The clock alarm sounded. Mother elephant opened her eyes. She felt the sun's rays on her face. She stretched her hands and got out of bed. She quickly put on her pink dress and placed on her head one floral hat. She wanted the first to come in front of the store to avoid waiting in line.

"It's good. It's not a big crowd," she thought when she saw only two lions in front of the store.

Shortly, behind her stood Mr. and Mrs. Crab. Then students who went to school arrived. And little by little, the whole neighborhood was created in front of the shop.

They were waiting for the seller to open the door. It's been an hour since the line was formed. The animals began to worry. Another hour passed and everyone started losing patience. And then the door of the store was opened by Mr. Crab.

"I have terrible news. The jelly candy factory is robbed!"

Chapter 2

The chief Sunny was sitting in his big office. This yellow dinosaur was in charge of the safety of this small town. Since he was constantly sitting in his director's armchair, he was fat with a large stomach. Next to him, on the table, stood a bowl of jelly candies. The chief Sunny took one candy and put it in his mouth.

“Mmmm,” He enjoyed the taste of the strawberry.

Then he looked anxiously at the letter in front of him on which was published robbery factory.

"Who would do that?" he thought.

He was thinking which two agents would hire for this case. They must be the best agents since the city's survival is in question. After a few minutes of thinking, he picked up the phone and pressed one button. A squeaky voice answered:

"Yes, boss?"

"Miss Rose, call me agents Mango and Greener," Sunny said.

Miss Rose immediately found the phone numbers of two agents in her phone book and invited them to an urgent meeting. Then she got up and went to the coffee machine.

Sunny sat in his armchair with his legs raised on the table and looked out the window. His break was interrupted by the pink dinosaur that entered the office without knocking. She had curly hair collected in a big bun. The reading glasses jumped over her nose as she swung her broad hips. Although she was fat, Miss Rose wanted to dress nicely. She was wearing a white shirt and a black tight skirt. She put down a cup of coffee in front of her boss. And then, noticing that her boss wants to take another candy, she hit the main dinosaur on her arm. Sunny scared dropped the jelly candy.

"I think you should keep the diet," Rose said seriously.

"Who tells," Sunny mumbled.

“What?” Rose asked, surprised.

"Nothing, nothing. I said you are beautiful today," Sunny tried to get out.

Rose's face blushed.

Seeing that Rose began to wink him, Sunny coughed and asked:

"Did you call the agents?"

"Yes, they are on their way here," she confirmed.

But only a second later, two dinosaurs flew through the window. They were tied with ropes. One end of the rope was tied to the roof of the building and the other to their waist. Sunny and Rose jumped. The boss felt relief when he realized that it was his two agents. Holding his heart, he barely asked:

"Can you ever enter the door, like all normal people?"

Green dinosaur, agent Greener, smiled and embraced his boss. He was tall and lean, and his chief was up to his waist.

"But, boss, then it wouldn’t be interesting," Greener said.

He took off his black glasses and winked at the secretary. Rose smiled:

"Oh, Greener, you're charming as always."

Greener was always smiling and in a good mood. He liked to joke and to flirt with girls. He was charming and very handsome. While his colleague, agent Mango, was completely opposed to him. His orange body was embellished with muscles on his arms, stomach plates, and a serious attitude. He didn’t understand jokes and never laughed. Although they were different, the two agents were constantly together. They worked well. They had black jackets and black sunglasses.

"What's up, boss?" Greener asked and then he leaned back in the sofa next to the table.

Mango stood still waiting for his boss's answer. Sunny walked past him and offered him to sit down, but Mango just kept silent.

"Sometimes I'm afraid of you," Sunny said fearfully looking at the Mango.

Then he released a video on a big video beam. There was a big fat walrus on the video.

"As you already heard, our candy factory was robbed. The main suspect is Gabriel." Sunny pointed to the walrus.

"Why do you think he's a thief?" Greener asked.

"Because he was caught on security cameras." Sunny released the video.

The video clearly showed how Gabriel dressed as a ninja approached the door of the factory. But what Gabriel didn’t know was that his ninja’s suit was small and that every part of his body was discovered.

"What a smart guy," Greener was ironic. Dinosaurs continued to watch the recording. Gabriel picked up all the boxes with jelly candies and put them in a big truck. And then he shouted:

"It's mine! It's all mine! I love jelly candies and I'll eat it all!"

Gabriel turned on his truck and disappeared.

Chapter 3

"We need to visit Doctor Violet first, and she will give us vitamin supplements so that we don’t get hungry," Greener spoke.

Two agents walked the streets of a small town. The inhabitants watched them and shouted:

"Give us back our jellies!"

They reached the city hospital and lift up to the third floor. A beautiful purple dinosaur with short hair was waiting for them. Mango was stunned by her beauty. She had a white coat and big white earrings.

“Are you Dr. Violet?” Greener asked.

Violet nodded and handed her arms to the agents.

“I am Greener and this is my colleague, agent Mango.”

Mango just kept silent. Doctor's beauty left him without a word. Violet showed them the office to enter and then she took two injections. When Mango saw the needle, he fell unconscious.

After a few seconds, Mango opened his eyes. He saw the blue big eyes of the doctor. She smiled with blinking:

“Are you OK?”

Mango got up and coughed.

"I'm fine. I must have fallen unconscious for starvation," he lied.

The doctor gave the first injection to Greener. And then she came to Mango and grabbed his strong hand. She was enchanted with his muscles. Dinosaurs looked at each other so that Mango didn’t even feel when the needle pierced his hand.

"It's over," the doctor said with a smile.

“You see, big guy, you didn’t even feel it,” Greener patted his colleague on the shoulder.

"I want you to meet someone," Violet invited to her office a red dinosaur.

“This is Ruby. She will go with us into action,” Violet said.

Ruby walked in and greeted the agents. She had yellow long hair tied in a tail. She wore a police cap on her head and had a police uniform. She was cute even though she acted more like a boy.

"How do you think you're going with us?" Greener was surprised.

"Chief Sunny has issued an order that Violet and I are going with you. Violet will be there to give us injections with vitamins and I will help you to catch the thief," Ruby explained.

"But we don’t need help," Greener resisted.

"So the boss ordered," Violet said.

"My knowledge is that the thief Gabriel is in his mansion on Sugar Mountain. He put barricades on the mountain so that sugar couldn’t be lowered into the factory." Ruby said.

Greener watched her frowned. It didn't want to take two girls with him. He thought that they would only bother him. But he had to listen to the chief's order.

Chapter 4

Four dinosaurs headed towards Gabriel's castle. During the whole time, Greener and Ruby were fighting. Whatever she would say, Greener would contradict and vice versa.

"We should take some rest," Ruby suggested.

"We do not need a break yet," Greener said.

"We've been walking for five hours. We crossed the half-mountain," Ruby was persistent.

"If we keep resting, we will never arrive," Greener argued.

"We need to rest. We're weak," Ruby was already angry.

"Why are you then with us if you are not strong?" Greener said proudly.

"I'll show you who is weak," Ruby frowned and showed her fist.

"We do not need a break," Greener said.

"Yes, we need," Ruby shouted.

“No, we don’t!”

“Yes, we need!”

“No!”

“Yes!”

Mango approached and stood between them. With his arms, he held their foreheads to separate them.

"We'll rest," Mango said in a deep voice.

"This is an opportunity to give you the next dose of vitamins," Violet suggested and took out four injections from her backpack.

As soon as he saw the needles, Mango again fell unconscious. Greener rolled his eyes and started slapping his colleague:

“Wake up, big guy.”

After a few seconds, Mango woke up.

"It is again of hunger?" Violet smiled.

When everyone had received their vitamins, dinosaurs decided to stay under one tree. The night was cold and Violet slowly approached Mango. He raised his hand and she came under it and leaned her head on his chest. His big muscles warmed up the doctor. They both slept with a smile on their face.

Ruby made her a bed of large quantities of sugar and lay in it. Although the bed was comfortable, her body was shaking from the cold. Greener sat back on a tree. He was angry because Ruby won. He looked at her with clenched eyebrows. But when he saw Ruby shaking and feeling cold, he regretted it. He took off his black jacket and covered the policewoman with it. He watched her sleep. She was calm and beautiful. Greener felt the butterflies in his stomach. He didn’t want to admit he fell in love with Ruby.

When it was morning, Ruby opened her eyes. She looked around her and saw that she was covered with a black jacket. Greener was sleeping leaning against the tree. He didn’t have a jacket so Ruby realized that he gave it to her. She smiled. Mango and Violet woke up. They quickly separated from each other. Ruby threw a jacket on Greener.

“Thanks,” she said.

"It must have accidentally flown to you," Greener didn’t want Ruby to realize that he had covered her with a jacket. The dinosaurs got ready and proceeding further.

Chapter 5

While four dinosaurs climbed the mountain, Gabriel enjoyed in his castle. He bathed in a tub full of jelly candies and ate one by one. He enjoyed every flavor he tasted. He could not decide which candy he liked most:

Maybe I prefer pink.

It is soft like silk.

I will take this bellow.

Oh, look, it is yellow.

I love also green.

If you know what I mean?

And when I am sad,

I eat one jelly red.

Orange is delight

for good morning and good night.

Purple everyone adores.

It's all mine, not yours.

Gabriel was selfish and didn’t want to share food with anyone. Although he knew that other animals were starving, he wanted all the candies for himself.

A big fat walrus came out of the tub. He took the towel and put it around his waist. The whole bath was filled with jelly beans. He came out of the bathroom and went to his bedroom. Candies were everywhere. When he opened his closet out of it, a bunch of sweets came out. Gabriel was happy because he stole all jellies and he would eat them alone.

The fat thief entered his office and sat back in the armchair. On the wall, he had a large screen that was connected to cameras installed throughout the mountain. He took the remote control and turned on the TV. He changed channels. Everything around the castle was fine. But then on one channel, he saw four figures climbing the mountain. He straightened up and zoomed in on the picture. Four dinosaurs slowly moved.

"Who is this?" Gabriel wondered.

But when he looked better, he saw two agents with black jackets.

"That fat Sunny must have sent his agents. You will not get that easy," He said and ran into a large room with machinery in it. He came to the lever and pulled it. The machine started to work. The huge wheels began to turn and pull the iron chain. The chain raised a large barrier that was in front of the castle. The sugar that melted on the mountain slowly began to descend.

Chapter 6

Greener and Ruby were still arguing.

"No, strawberry jelly isn't better," Greener said.

“Yes, it is,” Ruby was persistent.

“No, it is not. Grape is better,”

“Yes, it is. Strawberry jelly is the most delicious candy ever.”

“No, it is not.”

“Yes, it is!” Ruby was angry.

“No!”

“Yes!”

“No!”

“Yes!”

Mango again had to intervene. He stood between them and split them.

"Tastes should not be discussed," he said in a quiet voice.

Greener and Ruby looked at each other, realizing Mango was right. Many people are arguing about things that are irrelevant, and that's just making problems. No one would ever be able to say whether a strawberry or grape jelly is tastier. Everyone has the taste he likes. And in this discussion, both dinosaurs were right.

"Hey, people, I don’t want to interrupt you, but I think we have a problem," Violet said frightfully, pointing her hand to the top of the mountain.

All the dinosaurs looked in the direction of Violet's hand and saw a big avalanche of sugar rushing towards them. Mango swallowed a dumpling.

“Run!” Greener yelled.

Dinosaurs started to run away from sugar, but when they saw their avalanche approaching, they realized they couldn’t escape. Mango caught one tree. Greener caught Mango's feet, and Ruby grabbed Greener's leg. Violet was barely able to catch the Ruby tail. Sugar has arrived. He wore everything in front of him. Dinosaurs kept each other. They barely managed to resist the avalanche power. Soon all the sugar went past them and went down to the factory.

The elephants were sitting in the yard of the factory, hungry. One of them saw a large amount of sugar approaching them.

"It's a mirage," he thought.

He rubbed his eyes but the sugar still came.

“Look, guys,” he showed other workers in the direction of the avalanche.

All elephants jumped up and began to prepare the factory for sugar.

"It will be enough for a couple of jelly boxes. We'll give them to women and children," one of them yelled.

Chapter 7

The white sheet covered the mountain. Through it, one head peeped. It was Greener. Next to him, Ruby appeared and then Mango emerged.

“Where is Violet?” Ruby asked.

Dinosaurs dived into sugar. They were looking for their purple friend. And then Mango found Violet's hand in the sugar and pull her out. Dinosaurs shook their bodies to clean themselves. Four friends realized that with each other's help, they managed to get out of the problem. Together they had more strength. They helped each other and together they managed to win the avalanche. They realized it was a real friendship.

"Probably Gabriel found out that we are coming," Ruby concluded.

"We need to hurry," Greener said.

Mango raised Violet to his back and they all accelerated.

When they saw the castle, they all lay down on the ground. They slowly approached one bush.

Greener watched through binoculars. He wanted to make sure Gabriel wouldn’t see him. And then he saw a thief playing a ballet in one room.

"This guy is crazy," he said.

"We have to get to the machinery room and release all sugar," Ruby was devising a plan.

"You're right," Greener said.

Everyone was strange that Greener agreed with Violet. She smiled.

"Mango, you'll get rid of the two guards in front of the castle," Ruby suggested.

"Received," Mango confirmed.

"Violet, you will stay here and keep watch. If another guard appears, you will give the sign to Mango."

"I understand," Violet nodded.

"Greener and I will enter the castle and look for a machine."

Greener agreed.

Three dinosaurs went towards the castle, and Violet remained to look around.

Two big fat walruses stood at the gate of the castle. They were tired because they ate a lot of jellies. Greener threw a pebble in the direction of the guard from the bush. Walruses looked at that side, but Mango approached them from the back. He knocked one on his shoulder. The guard turned and saw Mango. Other dinosaurs thought Mango would beat the two guards, but instead, Mango began to sing in a nice, thin voice:

Sweet dreams my little ones.

I will watch you like my sons.

I will fill your sweet bellies.

I will give you a bunch of jellies.

The guards suddenly fell asleep, listening to the beautiful Mango's voice. Although it was easier for Mango to hit them with a fist and thus solve the problem, Mango still opted for a better approach to the problem. He managed to get rid of the guard without harming them. He managed to avoid physical contact and with a wonderful song to provide passage to his friends.

The orange dinosaur gave a signal to his friends that the passage was safe. Greener and Ruby are on their toes passed the sleepy guards.

When Greener and Ruby went into the castle, they saw everywhere a bunch of sweets. They opened the door, one by one, looking for a room with a machine. They finally saw the control panel.

"I suppose by using this lever we can free all sugar," Greener said.

But Gabriel appeared on the door, holding in his hand a detonator.

"Stop!" he shouted.

Greener and Ruby stopped and looked at Gabriel.

"What will you do?" Ruby asked.

"This detonator is connected to the giant water tank, and if I activate it, the tank will release water and all the sugar from the mountain will dissolve. You will never be able to make any jelly anymore," Gabriel threatened.

Ruby was devising a plan in her head. She knew she was faster than a fat walrus. She jumped to Gabriel before he could activate the detonator and began to fight with him.

While Ruby and Gabriel rolled on the floor, Mango spotted outside that no one came in. Violet watched the surroundings with binoculars. At one point, she saw a soldier walrus approaching the castle. She wanted to warn Mango. She started producing sounds like some strange bird:

“Gaa! Gaa! Gaa!”

Mango looked at her, but nothing was clear to him. Violet repeated:

“Gaa! Gaa! Gaa!”

Mango still didn’t understand his friend. Violet shrugged and shook her head. She began to wave her hands and point towards the approaching walrus. Mango finally realized what Violet wants him to say. He removed the helmet from the head of the sleepy guard and put on himself the guard's jacket. Mango stood still and pretended to be the guard. Walrus walked past him thinking that Mango was one of the guards. They nodded to each other. When the walrus passed, Mango and Violet felt relief.

Chapter 8

Ruby was still fighting Gabriel about the detonator. Since she was more skillful, she managed to extract a detonator from the thief's hand and put the handcuffs on his hand.

“I got you!” Ruby said.

During that time, Greener grabbed a lever and pulled it. The wheels began to pull the chain and the large barrier began to rise. Mango and Violet watched all sugar be released and began to descend to the factory.

“They did it!” Violet shouted and jumped into Mango's hug.

The elephants sitting in the garden of the factory noticed that a large amount of sugar descended from the mountain. They immediately started producing jelly. They were happy that secret agents had saved them. The main elephant called the snail to come for candy. The snail told the lions to wait for it on the unloading. The lions told the crab to get ready for new amounts of jelly. And the crab proclaimed to all the inhabitants of the city that food was coming to the stores. The animals decided to make a carnival in gratitude to their heroes.

On the streets were installed stands with different forms of jelly. Various products could be found there: jelly in the round jar, fruit jelly cup, car jelly jar, retro family jelly, tin-tin jelly, magic egg jelly, etc. All residents could buy their favorite flavors and jelly form.

The chief Sunny and Miss Rose were waiting for the heroes. Ruby led the thief in the handcuffs. She handed him over to her boss. Sunny placed Gabriel in a police car.

"From today, you will work at the factory. You will realize what the true values are and you will be honest as everyone in this city." Sunny said to Gabriel.

Then the chief congratulated his agents and gave them medals. He ordered that the most beautiful chariot be brought in, which would carry the heroes through the city.

"It was my honor to work with you," Greener looked at Ruby.

"Honor is mine," Ruby smiled and handed a hand to Greener.

They shook hands and all four of them went into the chariot. From that moment, four dinosaurs became the best friends regardless of their different characters. They worked together, helped each other, and even they went together to the wedding of the chief Sunny and Ms. Rose.

THE END
